Go down the pub, do some cleaning, or watch the TV?

Watch the TV - she'll get the hump if you go to the pub and if you do cleaning she'll expect it all the time xxx

All of them. Start off with the cleaning, go to the pub for a pint or two and then watch some tv. Or, you can get some beers in and drink them whilst watching the tv - after you've done some housework which I'm sure your wife would appreciate!!

what kind of relationship do you have?
If you go to the pub, will she argue and complain when she gets home? If its something you normally do, and then by all means and do it.
If you do some cleaning, will it make a difference? Will she notice and not care, or will it open the door for a little "romance" later on?
You can't really go wrong watching TV either. she can't complain that you're at the pub drinking, and if cleaning isn't something you normally do, then she wouldn't expect it to be done.

Clean and then go to the pub for a drink. Shell love you for cleaning and wont care if you are at the pub because you cleaned. Be a sweetie, dont be the typical drunk who doesnt clean hosue cause hes at the pub shell be pissy, dont just waste your time watching tv so she can clean when she gets home..that irks me. Instead clean and then go to the pub.

You should do some cleaning to make the missus happy and treat yourself with TV and maybe if there's time, still go to the pub afterwards.

Ah.. Thats where the differences come in between us Venusians and you Martians!! Us girls would do all of the above quite easily - 2 of them at the same time! Recignise you're a guy and go down the pub!! Or nip out to the corner shop and get some beers then watch tv.

Why don't you do some cleaning while watching the TV? I will watch tv and clean on the commercials. I don't drink so, I wouldn't suggest the pub, but that is up to you.

I would stay home and watch tv and maybe clean up a little but I have kids so I can't leave. If you don't have any kids feel free to go to the pub and have one for me!! :)

A true gentleman would not need to ask!
Do a bit of tidying and cleaning to welcome her home - it does not have to be a full spring clean, just make the place look presentable.
Then treat yourself to an hour in the pub or in front of the box but make sure you are ready to greet her with a nice cup of tea or whatever she likes when she gets home.

well i look at it like this ... if u go down the pub u are an alcoholic .... if u watch the tv u are lazy and if u do the housework it wont be up to the wife's standards... if u buy her flowers and cook her a meal she will be suspicious and think u are having an affair ... a no win situation i am afraid ;) ... hard work being a man sometimes eh !?
