Faith is all they got, it is the last resort of the intellectually vacuous. Faith is the excuse for ignorance and if ignorance is bliss, Christians must be having never-ending explosive orgasms.

Ahh but Faith "alone" is not the only thing that justifies the existence of God..
There is the Bible... which I know people say all the time how do You know it is really written by the people who claim it. The only reason thse people naysay is because they wern't there to see it themselves...
In 100 years people could say the same thing about our dictionary... well we wern't here to see it written so how do we know it is fact... Kinda silly huh?
I see God's miracles constantly in my life and in others.
"Faith" is the HOPE of something... the Belief in something...
What is so wrong in believeing in something so wonderful, or in the HOPE that the things will come to pass as written? There is nothing wrong with Faith.
Even "IF" we were wrong about the whole deal.. it still isn't a bad way to live your life.

You don’t need just faith to believe in god. You have historic references that show the worship of GOD came from Palestine. We have Science that shows that the Universe had once had a beginning. As Einstein said if the Universe began in a big bang where did all that energy come from? Meaning that the Universe has a creator.
The world around us is filled with examples of everything having a beginning and a creator. Children came from parents who themselves came from parents.
Large building do not evolve from steal and concrete, they are made (or created) from mans labor and intelligence given to us from our creator.

Totally agree with you!
Faith is necessary but God has also given plenty of historical evidence.
If faith alone was all we needed then the Bible & detail of geneologies (Matthew), noting of fulfilled prophecy (New Testament, Isaiah, Zachariah, etc...) would be unnecessary.
God wants us to have faith but he has also given us facts! Furthermore, Christianity is to be a religion of TRUTH, seeing that Jesus is the truth.
Good question, good clarity.

Because that's all I need. Walk by Faith not by Sight. He has saved me from certain death so many times, it's unbelieveable. All I need is faith in God to know of his existence.

Because those that believe are given reassurance by the gift of the Holy Spirit. God lets His people know.

Speaking only for myself for now; things 'line up' logically so well, that I believe there is a being(s) called God that created them; which our 5 senses may not see, but none the less exist.

Because that's all they have, wishful thinking. If they actually had evidence that their god exists, they would suddenly decide that faith is over-rated.
