I do not think they know where one ends and the other starts.

Thank goodness, their fearless (and brainless) leader, George W. will be leaving soon, and we have gotten rid of most of his cronies in this last mid-term election.

Nope.

I think that some churches forget how to separate church and state.. but even that said it's not the "Church" as a whole but usually one person.. a pastor etc..

Course I don't go to church for the politics, or the man in the pulpit.. I go for God.

I think evangelical churches serve an important purpose these days with the tecnology we have the pastors can reach people that were never reachable in the past.. We are commanded to spread Gods word.. Evangelical Christians do it in a more vocal fashion then others but there is nothing wrong with that.

There are millions of "Evangelicals" in America who are not political, beyond voting, and supporting their local leaders. There are a few who manage to get themselves on TV alot, who claim to speak for us all. They do not.
Just like reporters can always find that toothless guy in the undershirt, who rode on the UFO next to Elvis and Bigfoot, reporters know who to go to for a statement that makes Evangelicals look like idiots.
