I have a PVC shower perch and take them in them in the shower with me. Never put them in direct spray due to chance of asphyxiation, but you can splash water at them. My birds love it and won't bathe any other way.

Other ways: warm mist bottle, you may need to spray them for a couple minutes before they get worked up enough to dance for you.
a tub of warm water works as well
It all depends on what your bird likes. The zoo I worked at has a cockatoo that will only shower dance in the rain. He hates spray bottles and tubs of water.

I had this question too, not long ago. I'll tell you what worked for me. I keep my grey on a perch near the sink while I washed the dishes. I would sing to her will doing them and she evidently thought I was really enjoying myself (LOL)! Within a few days she would start to "sing" whenever I turned on the water. I asked her to step up, put my left hand lightly over her wings so that she couldn't fly and held her so that the water rained down her back and tail. She enjoyed it. Now every morning, after I clean out the sink I ask her if she'd like a shower, she hops on my finger and into the running water she goes. She doesn't like in fact she HATES the spray bottle and she doesn't like to be put in a pool of water.

I have a large cage that includes 4 different dishes. One is for the food and the other 3 for water. He loves to move from bowl to bowl to take a bath. I also spray him with water. They need to be bathed often to get rid of the dust on their feathers.

My parrot likes to bath in the sink. Plug the sink and have warm water streaming slowly out of the tap and see if he / she just wants to go down in the sink and bath there. Works for mine atleast (=.

get a water bottle that has a wide spray. If you spray the bird he will clean his feathers with you. A lot of birds like this.

Just make sure its a "shower" spray, you dont want to squirt the bird.

There are special misters that you can use. Look on eBay for "misty mate" (that's the name of the brand that makes them) and you should be able to get one at a discount.
