Fish are in a biological level of "class" as are mammals,
the class to which man belongs.
There may be a million different species of mammals.
And there have been more members of the genus to which
man belongs, that of hominid - the neandethal and homo erectus
for example.
As for reason, I think that's a personal choice. Biology and geology can only explain conditions which favored certain
characteristics for survival.
And as for tests and aliens, you are going beyond philosophy
and into the realm of fantasy and science fiction. Dream on.

each fish, like every other animal, has a slightly different life: it eats something different, can hide in certain places, or it's fast and has sharp teeth. If a kind of fish doesn't have a place in life, or if it's too easy to catch, or if it doesn't get enough food, then it goes extinct, and it's not around any more.

it fairly is extremely undemanding. guy, as a based being, replaced into created and had a beginning in God. God, as a non-based being, did not have a beginning and replaced into not created. guy then anthropomorphized his information of God so as that he might desire to extra suitable relate to an eternal being it is previous his comprehension.

Fish have been around a long time and have had more opportunities to mutate (a.k.a. evolve) into different varieties. Mammals (humans included) are relative newcomers to the earth and evolution has not had as much time to do its work on us.
