Unless they are pure bred and you have controlled mating, be prepared for anything! After years of breeding stray female black cats which my husband brings home the the neighborhood males, we have come up with several lines of Siamese cats, a Russian Blue-Siamese mix line, calico, all sorts of tabbys, etc. Some of these are recessive traits. The Siamese genes have been in the neighborhood for over 30 years. The kittens used to be born in the barn; we now let them be born in the house for safety reasons. There are too many large dogs and other predators in the country now because a local highway project has dislocated all the smaller wild animals. We have had several small dogs and a lot of cats disappear in the vicinity. If your cats are pure Siamese, there are charts which will show you the probabilities of color and sex of the kittens. I don't know about the other breeds.

Just like people, genetics are highly variable in cats, although cat breeders have learned through years how to increase the odds of achieving particular colors, coat-types, etc. This led to the emergence and present popularity of purebred cats. But even so, genetics are complicated and far from fool-proof. Mother Nature still excels at throwing curves. For a mini-lesson in cat color genetics, please visit the link I've provided here.

Cats are a really funny thing. They can end up looking like neither parent. I had two cats from the same litter....one is totally black and the other has Gray and white stripes. They look nothing alike and look nothing like the mother. However, my vet said that she can tell they are brothers because they have the exact same body structure. She said, "When I close my eyes and feel them I can't tell if I'm touching Midnight or Dusty, their body structure is identical."

The genes from both the male and the female go to the kitten so it will look like both. Sometimes they look more like one then the other and sometimes, they don't exactly look like either.

depends on your question, if you mean its appearrance then they will obviously look like a female. cause they do breed their kittens right? why the hell would a male breed kittens?
if you mean its habits, then they will transform themself as a guardian. thats mean they will become more horrible than a male. when they are not with their kitty, you will be mistaken them as a male. any male they encounter will be dispel by any means.

No telling. The genetic mixture in cats can vary greatly - and even jump a generation or two - so all you can do is wait and see.

both and neither--you can never tell unless you're dealing with two purebred cats of the same breed and then it's obvious they'll look like both.
