My workmate B is worrying me, i keep catching him staring at me, he is becoming very touchy with me and gives me a lot of abuse (in a flirting way). I dnot like it - how can i get him to stop?

Maybe he thinks that you enjoy it. Let's face it, you've said nothing to him from the start and that is why he has continued with it.
Has he got one wooden leg? One way to make him stop is to take his wooden leg and beat him with it.

He may not even be gay ... just cos he's touchy just prob means that he's very tactile, and men can be tactile without being gay! If u wanna find out, why not ask if he is seeing anyone ...get to know him, and ease ur paranoria.. and stop being so vain! People can be friendly with eachother.. and it not mean nething more then FRIENDSHIP! Get in touch with ur feminine side will ya!
And to all you people out there, that think just cos ur mates gay, they are going to fancy you, is a load of rubbish, I saw someone answer this question, about telling a gay friend if you even try we aint mates - how presumptious of you to think that he/she would... come on, gay people dont fancy every person of the same sex - think u are all very niave - and need to be educated... clearly ur not very good friends to ur gay friends to put such assumptions on to them. somewhat you could like your perfect mate, yet i does not call it being g*a*y. most effective way would be say u are not gay in his face.
or u can say something like, "hey,man, stop being gay." in a way that people may think you are jokin but to him, it would be something else.
and you can talk about u like gay people or saying how some people are really gay when a converstion is goin. i know it is prejudice, but in your case, you are just trying to get him stop being intimate to you.

tell him to stop...that it makes you uncomfortable and that friends are not supposed to do things that make each other unhappy....if he doesn't stop then he really isn't a friend and you just need to avoid him or report him to the boss....in the workplace, this is called, "creating a hostile work environment"....most companies will fire someone that does this as there are laws protecting you....good luck

It's really difficult to imagine that could happen in the real world. He could get himself into trouble, etc. Maybe it was all your imagination? Maybe there is some unresolved issue in your inner self?

Just be honest with him!! Not about your doubts with his sexuality, but just have a quite word with him, tell him that coz your mates you feel you can be honest with him and that you do not like the way he jokes with you. good luck

tell him, communitcation is the only way, let him do something to u and then turn around and say, mate, i dont like what u are doin, or atleast something like that. give him atleast 3 warnings and then tell ur bigger boss

if he's your mate, ask him if he's gay.
If he's not your mate, it's a bit more tricky. Let him catch you picking your nose and eating it, or something else equally gross. He'll go off you dead quick.
