This guy and I have been together for almost 3 years. The 1st year was perfect... we were thinking marriage. The last couple of years have been a liitle rocky, but the love we share is still burning. Should we give up, or really try.

if you are still in love with him, then don't give up... unless... the "rocky" involves abuse or addiction issues, because those never really go away. you'll know it's over when the thought of him touching you makes you nauseated and everything he does grates on your nerves like nails on a chalkboard.

You;ve invested 3 years of your life together...why give up now? Do everything you can to reignite the sparks . Do something you 2 used to do together when you first got together...bring back some of the good memories you've shared.

an irony of sort, thisproblem of yours, dear. how can a romantic relationship still burning with and love be on the rocks at the same time?for sure it's not yet over, too much loving can choke you up... explore other areas in your relationship which could add more excitement to it to prevent both of you from falling out.COMMUNICATE,that is;talk and listen...

If you BOTH really want the relationship to work...then it certainly is worth fighting for. No relationship is smooth and steady all the time. It takes hard work...lots of communication and trust. But, it is well worth it when you are spending your life with the one that you love.

To decide when it is over is a difficult question. I guess it is when you can no longer find any common ground to build on and are both seeking differant things and direction
