In America, the closest available size to 1 litre (1000ml) is 750 ml.
The reason it is not made in 1 litre size is because the popular standard on which it is based in America is a quart which is close to 750 ml.

A liter bottle is bigger than the average fifth you get in the liquor store. Most liquor stores sell 750 ml bottles and the 1 l bottles are made for bars and restaurants. in your area it might be different but that is the answer from the middle of Illinois

Buying 2 1-liter bottles would probably be the closest to buying 2 liters.

i would think that a liter would be 2 pints. just be careful with vodka because it gives a wicked hangover. the more expensive the vodka the less it hurts in the morning.

felicity is wrong - does not know how to do arithmetic.

A liter is 1.06 quarts, so it is a little bit larger than a quart.

As per the size of the bottle, that depends upon the shape of the bottle

What ever size it wants to be as long as the internal volume is 1 litre.

Bill P - Felicity is not wrong. In the UK a pint is 568ml. A quart is two pints so is 1.136litres.

A UK gallon is equal to 1.2 US gallons - Not everything in the US is bigger!!!!!
