I'm getting married in five months. How can I lose 15 pounds in the next few months? I work out three to four times a week. I eat fruit, yogurt, and special K in the morning. I usually have a salad or turkey for lunch.
Any advise would help. Thank you. :)

Go to www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight and it is a free site. It's like having your private nutritionist.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. It is free with support from the members and a real neat site. I'm really impressed.
Enjoy!

God Bless!

Some maybe just a little stay away from fried food starch's such as lots of rice, corn if you eat a bake potato not butter just a little salt and pepper no cheese no sour cream however you may have just a small amount of Bacon bits not a lot.
Baked fish with a slice of lemoned
Baked chicken breast with the skin remove
Here is a dish that I cooked for myself because I wanted to eat a little healthier.
I took two catfish fillets 8oz of salad shrimp put blackend seasoning on the fish and shrimps add 1/3 cup of lemond juice.
1 8 to 16 oz jar of three cheese alfrado sauce put a slice lemond on top add just a small amount of powder garlic and some chopped green oinions. Cover with tin foil put in oven at 400 degrees cook for 35 t0 40 min. then uncover and cook another 10 t0 fifteen then take it out and enjoy.
Oh don't forget to put a little salt and pepper on the fish before you begin it was really good I hope that I did not forget anything.
If you try this let me know how it comes out please.
I think you will like it.

It sounds like a lot but count your calories. If you lessen your calories by 100 less a day you will lose weight and don't eat passed 7:00pm at night.Try not to use regular margerine get the lower fat and same with milk do 1% any other stuff like gravy or even condaments like mayo butter oil dressings etc try and do half the amount u would usually have.Or just cut out quarter amount of your food less then what u would normally have and u will lose that way but the first way i said would take off a lot more weight.U just need to lose 15 pounds so just cut back on every meal.U can eat a lot of veggies to replace.Have fat free dressing with carrot sticks and celery or other veggies u like as snacks but just cutting back will do it for you.Congrads and good luck u can do it. bye 4 now.

I lost 20 pounds in 2 months going to Rectruit Training Canter (Naval Basic Training). Wake up in the morning at 4, walk three miles to get breakfast, then walk 3 miles back, do 10 more than your maximum push up capacity, do 20 more situps than your max capacity, then Sit for five minutes. Walk to the gym, then do the same thing. Go back home, eat veggies, bread and a glass of milk for lunch in a minimal quantity.....

I mean just keep yourself very busy, if you have time to watch TV you have time to do pushups and situps and squats and lunges.

Your best bet, believe it or not, get weights and do reps in the morning, this too will help you shed pounds by boosting your metabolism all day. Also you are on the right track. Don't starve yourself. And keep in mind what your inches are also. You can gain muscle, which weighs more than fat, and still loose a size or two. Any gym rep or dietician will tell you you are doing great. Good luck!

Weight loss depends alot on your body's metabolism. 15 lbs in 5 months is realistic, but don't starve yourself. Jogging is the best way to speed up your metabolism or walking. You need to run-walk at a good enough pace to burn calories. In your diet stay away from too many portions of breads, candy, soda trans fat.

For snacks buy some high protein shakes from GNC (try EAS). Do a couple of scoops of the protein, throw in a banana and mix it up, you'll be good to go for a morning or afternoon snack. Buy some ready to eat frozen diet meals.

You can do it !

Sounds like you have a good start! You might add a whole lot more vegetables for the fiber -- high fiber (30-60 gm/day) with 6-10 glasses of water a day.
