"Holiday Attire". What do you think that means?

That means a cocktail dress ( if you are female ) or a casual suit. I'm not sure about the tie, though. Nothing over the top. No velvet, no black tux.

Holiday attire usually means something festive to me: red, white, green, if Christmas is the holiday. But just to be safe, I would go dressed nice. If a woman, a pair of nice pants or a skirt with a fun and festive top (maybe a red tanktop, nothing slutty, and a shrug or a sweater over that with a cute logo). If you're a guy, grab a nice pair of pants and sweater, maybe with some cute logo, like a snowflake, on it. Even add a sprig of holly and pin it to your clothes.
'Holiday' just sounds like something 'fun' to me. Just don't be the one with the light christmas tree sweater your dear aunt Martha sent you whn you were 15.

I'd suggest it means wearing some nice, such as a dress for a female and for a male, perhaps dockers and shirt with a sweater. Wear a sport's jacket that you can take off, so you'll be comfortable, but look nice during the party.

It means dress up for the occasion. Cacktail dress if you are a girl, dress slacks ,dress shirt, maybe a jacket. Nice shoes, hair done , nails done its a social event. Watch a tv show if you need help. Like pretty woman or something. Any person with any type of class would know this. Leave the shirts with reindeer, santa , and jingle bells at home. Those are trashy and I don't even know why they sell that stuff.

I think it means to wear RED, WHITE, GREEN, SILVER and GOLD. Or a christmas scene printeed on a sweater or sweatshirt. Perhaps a Santa hat or an Elf hat.
