Yes, you can go to the high school on post. In fact, his chain of command will likely DEMAND that he enroll you in high school, whether you live on post or off. A friend of mine had a neighbor in the same situation. The unit made sure the soldier enrolled her at the post high school before he deployed, and she finished her senior year there.

I was also married my senior year to my high school sweet heart who also happened to be in the Army. Next month we will be celebrating 18 years married and this month we celebrate 20 years together. If you pcs with him, yes you can go to school on post, they are run by the local school district, you wont be held back for moving there.

Hmmm.. first off you should definitely finish school. No need to rush to be with your husband so soon. There is always a greater chance of him leaving for TDY, deployment whatever and you'd end up alone either way. My advice for you is to finish school, if you were to move to AZ, you'd have to start fresh. Make new friends, and learn how to get around on your own. If he is going to Huachuca, I think they are currently deployed but just to let you know.. it's a better idea that you get yourself straight with your education because it's not easy to be a military wife...

More than likely you will be able to finish and graduate HS...alot of it depends on your credits...how many you have comoared to what this new school is wanting you to have and finish. Your best best would to be is get ahold of your ACS (Army community services) at the post you are going to and see if they have a continuing education classes available for you to go to (night school) where you still recieve a HS diploma not a GED.

yeah.. if you're 18 you just have to switch schools, if you're under 18 he would be considered your guardian and have to sign all the papers with you... I think, but that's how it is where i'm from. Where are you moving to Yuma?

You are still in highschool and you got married? Oy vey! I have no idea if you'll be able to attend your last year. You will need to talk to the people in charge of education at the base, or something to that nature.
