Well, I'm not a grandparent but I do remember some of the things my Grandparents taught me. To live each day to the fullest and enjoy each day for the blessings it brings. To remember that life is not fair or easy, but if you live right and have faith, you can work through anything. To learn from your mistakes so you don't repeat them. To treat everyone with respect...you never know what they are going through. To be patient...good things come to those who wait. These are some of the lessons I learned from my Grandparents and hope they help you, too. These have been meaningful lessons in my life.

I'm a Grandma.I tell my Grandaughters all the time to always cherish every moment of everyday as noone knows what tomorrow will bring. To realize how important your family is and to always make time for them.To go after their dreams. To stand up for what they believe in.To be themselves. Not to let someone tell them how they should be.Always be true to yourself.Work hard in life but also remember to have fun.To be honest, respectful, trustworthy, loving and to show a good heart. To always help someone in need as you never know someday you may need help.Take care of your health. When you are in a rush always remember to say Hi as you pass someone. That we all will go through life with alot of trials and hurdles but without lifes lessons we would never know how to appreciate even a simple smile.Families need to stick together.

What advice can grandparents give to their grand kids you ask? I am a grandmother of fourteen grand kids, minus one that died, I will not talk about him, because it still hurts his passing. I have always instilled in my children and now my grandchildren to respect their elders, to remember to give thanks to God for the many blessings he has bestowed on us, and to be courteous to other people, be a law abiding person, generous in sharing whatever they have, and above all else, love thy neighbor as thy self, which the way things are nowadays we need that a lot. I hope that this answer helps a little in what you wanted to know.

You gotta know when to hold em', know when to fold em', know when to walk away, know when to run.
You never count your money, while your sitting at the table there'll be time enough for counting- when the deal is done.
