If you want to know how old she is, I would suggest asking your vet. If you don't have one, you can find one at
http://aav.org/vet-lookup

As mentioned before, they can't lay eggs until they're at least a year or so. But egg laying is dangerous, and you'll need to stop it. Your vet can give you some ideas as to how to do this. But for now, here are some good ideas:

*make sure she's getting at least 12 hours of sleep every night
*make sure she's getting enough calcium, like from a cuttlebone or mineral block
*change her toys around or get her new toys
*change her diet

Good luck!

I have 3 'tiels so I may be able to help. You cannot tell how old she is because she has layed eggs. It does tell you though that she is most likely atleast a year old and definitely a female! I have 2 females and neither one has layed eggs yet and they are both around a year old. I'm sure you also realize that they won't hatch unless there is a male and a proper nestbox. I would remove the eggs so she's not trying to hatch them. That would be stressful. What color is your 'tiel and what's her name?

No it sure doesn't. If there is no male around the eggs will not be fertilized.
You are doing something right if she is laying eggs :0) If you want babies get her a boyfriend...though she will stop being so social with you.
Good luck :0)

Make sure your bird gets plenty of calcium and vitamin D in her diet, laying eggs is very stressful on her body

No, but I'd say she has to be at least 18 months to 2 years. Beyond that it is hard to tell.

not really.. what you can do to tell is take her to a pet shop and they should tell you how old or where to go to find out..
