You just can't afford to live in medieval times forever...!

Its a shame really, Rushdie has some good ideas which I tend to agree with, but his error was to write a book that on the whole was highly offensive which made a lot of people angry. If he hadn't written it more people might listen to him now.

i personally don't agree with modernizing Islam nor do i agree with fighting modern society.the problem is that most people will not follow Islam correctly.if Muslim were to follow it correctly Islam could work with modern society.

i also like to point out as Muslims we cannot go around changing the words of god(Allah).if Muslim were to start changing the words of the quran and Islamic rules.we would be falling into the same deviation that the people before us(Jews and Christians) have fallen into.this is why the bible and Torah are corrupted today because people were changing the words of god(Allah)

How are Muslims fighting against the modern world? The Quran is relevent 14 centuries ago and still will be relevant in the future till judgment day. What ever advice we need is in the Quran.

Rushdie does not know anything about Islam, and it is unfortunate that people like him present a wrong image of Islam.

I would recommend to research Please check out
