The problem with the US is that we are a capitalistic country which means the bottom dollar or highest profits motivate us. In order to make more money, businesses are going to other countries for cheap labor.
As a business, this is smart. The less you pay your employees (insurance, paid leave, sick time, vacation, etc) the more you have as a profit. However, they are turning our country into a jobless, low-educated country.
How can I hate these people for taking these jobs? I would do the same, it is about feeding your family.

I think outsourcing hurts the countries you mentioned more than it hurts the USA. But, it does take jobs away from Americans. It's all part of the greed of the rulers of the USA and I don't think most Americans agree with it. The companies that have outsourced don't pay even a living wage to those doing all that hard work in the countries you mentioned. So, how can it help anyone? If I knew that Indians and Philippines were making a living wage, I wouldn't be so embarrassed to be an American. I used to be proud of my country, and I still am proud of it's *people*. But, the government could take a hike as far as I'm concerned. Peace.

How can it be their fault? They are not stealing jobs they are taking jobs that are offered to them in their area. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. If people want to be angry they should be angry with the American Companies for out sourcing. They should stop buying their products. That's not going to happen though. I say good for the people in those countries for taking jobs that can improve their lives.

They aren't stealing jobs, they're doing what any ambitious human trying to make it is doing, looking for golden opportunities. Maybe if people would devote their time focusing on education and personal development rather than fun, drugs, and entertainment, and actually learn to put some effort into WORKING rather than finding the quickest way to making money...then there wouldn't be foreigners 'stealing' jobs. It's a dog eat dog world out there, and the one who works the hardest and devotes themselves amongst the odds make it out on top. Especially in small workforces where they say mexicans are stealing all of the smaller jobs...welll SOMEBODIES got to do the dirty work....
In the end they aren't stealing jobs, they're taking advantage of the opportunities people here in america won't take...if you haven't noticed, most education systems in foreign countries are strict as hell and FORCE you to advance educationally....especially places like japan, germany, uk....those schools specifically set them for success....while here they focus so much on the emotional upbrining and maintaining of juveniles that it's suprising we're still ahead of our game.....thank god for our colleges i suppose.....
But that's just my opinion.....i can't delve too deep into it because i dont know enough about it..but from hearsay that's my summation about the whole schmeal.

And here I was thinking they were going to Mexico. I don't hate the people but I hate what the companies are doing because it's not right. All they want from the other countries is cheap labor. They know they can't get that here, because the American people will not put up with that.

I think that Americans have become spoiled. We all want good paying jobs. Well people all companies can't afford the pay we want. A lot of the jobs they have are low paying. The reason they move is because we want more pay. We want our burger flippers to get $10/hr. and only want to pay $1 for them. If you want higher pay then your going to have to expect to pay more for what you want. It is a catch 22. When the minimum wage goes up, the price for everything goes up. Remember this and you will live happier.

The outsourcing thing has come to the point American companies must to it or die. It has a lot to do with corruption of our government. In the U.S. we have the best government money can buy and it works for China, Japan, whoever pays them the most. Thus the U.S. is digging its own grave. I don't blame China and India for looking after their interests, I blame the U.S. for not looking after our own.

Americans elect politicians that allow this to happen, and then complain when the job leaves. plus, when a company tries to compete with globalization by staying in america, unions and other factors drive prices up and eventually run them out of the business or the country.
globalization keeps prices down, and gives americans incentive to go out and be competetive in the workforce...

Friend, I worked for General Electric co. at the same department for almost 38 yrs. They offer me early retirement, & I took it, Why should I work 50 hours a week when I can sit home and make on my pension a 40 hr. work week, I don't like to see these jobs go somewhere else, I feel sorry for the younger generations.

I don't hate anyone.
I don't think they're stealing jobs, it's the companies who are giving the jobs away to these people. These people just want to make a living is all.
