Usually when someone says "I have alot on my mind" that generally means they want you to leave them alone. Dont help out. Thats why he said that in the first place.()

just tell him that u love him that is all you au can do and ask him does he want 2 talk about it and if he does then just talk with him n everything will become clear

do something nice make a meal for him thats always nice if dont know how to cook and you try to cook it will show how hard you try to please him maybe it does have to be cooking but something that shows you work hard to please him
