Get a curly perm. I've lived the life of a puffball. When I grew up they didn't know what to do with my hair, so I just had to look like a dork. Then I discovered that a perm isn't just to get curls. I can also tame down the out-of-control curl. I looked like a q-tip. I hated my hair so bad I wore scarves all the time. It took my girlfriend to drag me into the salon because I've had so many bad experiences with beautician's, but I'm so glad I let her talk me into it. For the first time in my life, I could take a shower, wash my hair, towel dry and pick, and I was good to go!. Get a good leave-in conditioner(I used Regis Salon's own brand. It's full of mineral oils instead of chemicals.) and it will last forever. I could go for 6 months and people would ask if I had just had my hair done.

If you would like to get it chemically straight, then I suggest the Chi Straightening System. It can cost a lot but it works very well. Because your hair is soo curly it won't make it straight as a board but it will definitely mike it easier to make straight with the flat iron and less frizziness. If you don't want to do that I suggest buying the best straighting gel you can get your hands on. I'm a stylist and I personally like to use the Chi straightening gel or the Paul Mitchell Straight Works. Use some sort of frizz serum, blow-dry as straight as you can get it. Then use either the Chi flat iron or P.M. flat iron ( i like that one the most ) to straighten. Chi has a straight guard spray that you use on each dry section of your hair before you flat iron. It will protect your hair from frying. Always, Always use products in your hair to keep it from damaging. I hope this helps you at least a little or gave you some ideas. These products cost a good bit but I'm telling you it's worth every penny. Not only do they work very well, they wont damage your hair if used properly

in case you mean the straightening irons, convinced, they do damage hair. The implement itself isn't the problem, even with the undeniable fact that the human beings who use them. maximum do no longer understand a thanks to apply them properly, and overheat their hair, or do it at the same time as the hair isn't thoroughly dry. Moisture interior the hair at the same time as heated will create steam and "explode" the hair on the interior and then in some months, once you've forgotten what you've done, will the hair come aside and also you do not understand why. the countless warmth secure practices products may paintings slightly, yet perfect use of the irons is what you want to do. remember that once the wear is done, you may't restore it. each and every thing works. yet you want to apply the right device interior the right thanks to get the outcomes you want. utilizing the incorrect device interior the incorrect way on the incorrect hair will continually create a multitude.

The Maxiglide hair straightener is the only thing that worked on my hair and I am in the same boat as you. All tho it was like 80 dollars it is well worth it and it doesn't dry at your hair or anything like that it makes it really soft and shiny.
