My hair is natually curly and wavy. when i blow dry it i usually put straighting gel in it and then some sleek and shine cause it is so thick i have to keep the friz down. Anyway after i blow dry it it is straight then a couple of hours later the back of it looks like i didnt even brush my hair. Is there some certain product that i can use that is doesnt do that?

I have the same problem, and here's what I do:

I wrap my hair in a towel as soon as I get out of the shower. DON'T actually towel dry your hair. Just wrap it up. Do a couple of your normal "post-shower" routines, whether it be brushing your teeth or applying body lotion. After about 10 - 15 minutes, take the towel down. Use a wide tooth comb and work any kinks or tangles in your hair (it will still be very wet - that's okay).

At this point, I usually apply EITHER "Loreal Professionnel Liss Extreme" (about 2 or 3 squirts - depending on your hair length, mine goes down to about mid-back - distributed evenly through the hair should do the trick), OR I use Bumble and Bumble Straight (the gel). Again, don't go overboard. Too much product is not a good thing either. A nickel to quarter sized amount of the gel (again, depending on the length of your hair) should be enough to get the job done.

Once you've distributed the gel in your hair, separate your hair into sections. I usually just make a "half ponytail" and keep a little bit of the back of my hair - the portion that is closest to my neck - down (the rest gets clipped to the top of my head with a claw clip). I start by blow drying this section straight with a round brush. The mistake I used to make in blow drying was to blow dry moving the dryer up and down from root to end and back. The better way to do it is with the section of hair you're working with, blow dry at a downward angle - you can go up and down, but make sure the dryer is facing down, but also wave the blow dryer from side to side. I'm not sure why, but this not only helps your hair dry faster, but it helps limit the frizz that develops.

Another tip is to check your blow dryer - try to get one with an ionic setting - this also helps reduce frizz. Keep the blow dryer a few inches away from your hair - if you start seeing smoke coming from your hair, the dryer is either too close, or you've been keeping it on one spot too long. :o)

Back to drying - once you've finished that first section, blast it with some cool air to set it. Then let down the next section and work on that. Just go, section by section, working your way to the top and front of your head. It takes a lot of time, especially if your hair is thick and long like mine, but it will be worth it, trust me! :o)

Once you've dried your entire head of hair, then finish with another squirt of the Loreal Professionnel liss extreme product (just rub it between your hands, and then smooth it over your hair, all the way down to the ends). Or if you started with the Bumble and Bumble, finish with Bumble & Bumble's Finishing Gloss. Just pump a squirt or two on your hands, rub between your hands and again, smooth over your hair and down to the ends. This helps tame any unruly frizzies

This should do the trick - I have long, thick hair and it's worked like a charm for me.

Also - FYI - I believe you can only get the products I mentioned in a salon, though you may be able to find them (hush! :o) illegal!!) in some supermarkets or drugstores.

Good luck!

Oh I have the equal crisis!! I do not advise perms considering the fact that the chemical substances are quite detrimental! Your different alternative is to make use of a curling iron with a thick barrel (one million.five"). I realize you stated you shouldn't have time however this system takes 10 minutes and is handy. Spray your dried hair with a few middle protectant and divide it into five-eight gigantic sections. Apply a few wax at the period. Starting virtually the roots, wrap the hair across the tong and keep it in a vertical function for approximately 10 seconds. Release the hair from the tong and keep it at the same time it cools (or use a pin to preserve it rolled at the same time to visit the following phase). When the hair is completed and funky, run your arms for your hair to wreck the gigantic curls into smaller ones and spray a mist of hair spray! Voila!

Continue to use the anti-frizz products. You should also use a defrizzing shampoo and conditioner. You should try to only wash your hair two times a week, but condition every day. Have you read CurlyGirl by Lorraine Massey, Deborah Chiel? It is a handbook for curly/wavy hair. The author is a stylist at an upscale salon in NYC. I highly recommend it to take control of your locks.

Do you have a Regis Hair Salon anywhere close? I have the same problem w/my hair and they have their own brand of leave-in conditioner made w/mineral oils that is absolutely FAB! It's not heavy or sticky, and it leaves a beautiful shine and you can still brush or pick(that's what I have to do) thru it. And frizz is no more!!! If you have uncontrollable frizz, curl, waves like myself you might consider having a curly perm to control all of it, too. I got so tired of trying to fight mine I went that way and my hair never looked so good.

product is elbow grease and a big round brush.
the hair must be PULLED straight not just blown dried in a downward motion.
wrap the hair around the brush, turn a little while picking it up at the same time. this creates a pulling technique that will straighten the hair.

After taking a shour DONT BRUSH your hiar . Leave it to dry on it's own . After it drys it will look very cool !!
If you preffer streight hair BRUSCH your hair after the bath and pull it so hard and then tie it very hard .
When it drys it won't be streight but it will be half streight .
This is a lot better than wavy hair .

i would do anything to have wavy curly hair! instead of straightening it, make it even more curlier! put hair gel to shape every curl and it'll look great! i have flat/kinda wavy and thick hair and even i can't straighten it perfectly like jennifer aniston in friends or amanda bynes and all those other celebrities! it's IMPOSSIBLE...
