We all now understand that it's a misconception that only women get breast cancer. There have been famous men that have had breast cancer. The lead actor in the classic film "SHAFT", Richard Roundtree had breast cancer and had a mastectomy (removal) of the cancerous breast. He survived. Sadly, Rod Roddy, the longterm announcer of "The Price is Right", died due to complications from breast cancer. Rod Roddy past away on Oct. 27, 2003.

Men can get it too but I think a female hormone encourages the growth of the tumours so it's rare in men.
