I am very short of cash at the moment, can you all pray that some money will come my way soon, you never know, I might be more inclined to believe if it works.

I know how Christians can help on this. Go to your local Catholic church. When The Offering is being circulated during the service, drop in a few coppers and swiftly lift out all the notes.

Et voila. Money for the needy!! And the church has no admin costs as you've cut out the middle man.

Have nice Christmas.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't work like that. Whatever you ask for has to be first of all to do with the sanctification of god's name, the doing of His will and the coming of His kingdom. Then we can ask for God's blessing to be on others and finally we can ask for God to help us.

Check out the prayer outlined as a model by Jesus in Matthew 6:9-11. Maybe you could ask for God to mould your mind and heart through Bible study and meditation so that you have a different view of money and financial problems, a view that makes you realise that money is not the answer. This would make you happier and a bit more fulfilled.

Christians can pray but Christ can help. If you need something in particular, He knows. You may not get money directly but you may end up with a different set of circumstances that allieviate the need for money. I have yet to have a time when God abandoned me when I truly needed something. Sometimes he will place an opportunity before you but you have to look for it, you cannot remain passive all the time.

What do you want the money for????
For all the people here to pray for money for you to fly to america and assassinate the president would not be good would it? ;-)

Besides isn't money the root of all evil? Pray for evil erm,,, LOL

And you want a squad of cash to prove praying works???

Are you not being a little undeserving? I'm sure you do need cash, but is there not another way to find it?

...Deuteronomy 8 says:
...16 "In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end.
...17 "Otherwise, you may say in your heart, 'My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.'
...18 "But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
...God gives you power to make wealth - are you working?
...2 Thessalonians 3:10-11 says this:
...10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.
...11 For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.
...Instead of praying that money will "come your way", why don't you work for it? God provides our needs, but often not apart from you working to earn it.

You have to help yourself first and then God will help you too.You can't just stay with crossed hands and wait for some money to come over. There was even a good joke about a man who was praying everyday to win from the lottery and finally God had enough with him and told him "Well,at least go and buy a lottery ticket!"

faith without works is dead, so you have to believe that you will get a job when you pray.sometimes the lord test your faith if you can wait on him, and while you search for the job you also pray at the same time and the lord will reveal to you the right job, and while you are doing that, he takes care of your most important needs.

Deuteronomy 6:16 reads: "You shall not tempt [test] the LORD your God ..." Please don't hinge your belief in God on whether or not you receive money. The stakes are too high. Here's a thought: why don't you pray to God yourself and ask Him to prove to you that He's real? This is not a test, it's an honest question -- one that He WILL answer.

Peace.

No, I won't pray for you, because you are just mocking God. If you got a million dollars you still would not believe because you have a hard heart and blind to truth.
