We bought some but we have 2 cats and on the packet it says it is extremely poisonous to cats. How much contact would the cats have to make for their lives to be in danger?
At most, they usually don't make any contact with the dog, but because our dogs bed is in the kitchen, when the cats come in the back door, they will very occasionaly rub round my dogs bed. Depending on how the dog is laying in her bed, the cats sometimes end up rubbing round her head.

i am worried about using it because i love my cats to bits and i need to know how vigilant i need to be.

Many thanks

I would suggest going to your vet and asking him or her and she what you can do to help pervent an accident...also they only way your cats can die from the flea stuff is if they lick it or it someone how gets into their body...but i should still go to your vet and ask about it...hope this helps and good luck...

genuinely not!!! maximum dogs flea drops have chemicals n them that are poisonous to cats, and could kill them! tell your mom to not use them-- if she nonetheless has the equipment guidelines, they'll say that. If she has already utilized them, tell her to bathe the cat in daybreak dish washing detergent, and take the cat to an emergency room if he shows any scientific signs and indicators (drooling, twitching, vomiting, and so on) a brilliant number of the over the counter flea drops have factors that could properly be poisonous to cats even while utilized wisely. See your vet for some income or frontline. good success!!

Spend out an eatra few quid and buy some Frontline or Stronghold from your vet. Neither of which which will kill your cats. I have seen the effects the cheaper versions can have on cats and it is horrendous. These cheaper versions also don't kill the fleas.
