It depends on what part you are in but there is a amazing italian reseraunt in Southfield Michigan on 12 mile after greenfield rd on the right hand side. It is reasonably priced and the food is totally amazing. I have lived inand out of michigan and it is by far the best. They have an antipasta salad that is unbelelivable and one order is big enough for two. This place is the best you will not be sorry.......

Frankenmuth, Traverse City, Dearborn and Grand Rapids are all full of great restaurants. The granddaddy of them all is the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. They serve family-style German chicken dinners that are out of this world.

If you go to the Detroit area, check out the Arabic restaurants in Dearborn, especially La Shish. If you hit the west side of the state, there are several pockets of ethnic groups that are full of great restaurants...but especially the Dutch and Swedes. On the east side of the state, you'll find great Polish restaurants, especially around Hamtramack and Bay City.

In the Dearborn area on 12. Not to far from the Hyatt going west of the Hyatt and the mall. There are a tone of cool places.
