Soft drinks like Coca Cola are not healthy drinks for sure.

Yes it is unhealthy because of process chemicals and caffeine and the diet ones are just as bad because they have even more process chemicals ... I stopped drinking sodas about 2 months ago for health reasons (by choice not sickness, disease, or anything else). I now drink a natural and healthy energy drink 2 times a day (8am & 1pm). It is the first energy drink to hit the market in the form of a powder so you can mix it up with the beverage of your choice no matter where you are at. Personally I just pour the contents from the ez 2 carry pack into a bottle of flavored water, shake it up, and bam I have an awesome and an extreme energy drink. I even lost 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks on this energy drink. If you or someone you know would like to try a couple of FREE SAMPLES check out my profile on how to get them or go to the link below

I used to drink Coca Cola daily but cut back slowly. I drink more water and ginger ale. Still have my Coca Cola fix, just have to have it, love the stuff but not everyday like I used to. Lost weight, but that seemed to be about the only benefit.
Mythbusters did a show on the effects of Coke on different items.

It really is. It contains phosphoric acid that causes osteoporosis. Also, the excessive consumption of high fructose corn syrup (another ingredient for Coca-Cola) may cause diabetes. And recently, the FDA responded to reports that benzene was present on unhealthy levels in some soft drinks, e.g. Coca-Cola.

Try cleaning a kitchen sink with a can of coca cola - it absolutely strips it and the sink will look sparkling clean. Just think, if it can do that to your sink, what it must do to your insides.......

No. But the sugar and caffeine are addictive. The sugar can also contribute to your developing diabetes as well as weight gain. And caffeine will keep you awake at night.

Since you consume so many soft drinks, you might try switching to one without calories, sodium, caffeine or sugar.

Everything in excess is bad. If you only drink it moderately then I think there's no harm in that, but EVERYDAY? You might develop ulcer because of all the carbonic acid that's eating up the wall linings of your stomach. Better lay off the coke. :]

Well, it's nothing but calories and does cause you to gain weight. It's certainly not a healthy drink, but it is my favorite as well and can't live without it. I'd give up just about anything before giving up my Coke.
