I have been a Catholic for 52 years and the way people talk here is that every Priest is a paedophile. I have met and had dealings with the Priests through activities in the Church and not one has done the wrong thing. So don't blame all the Priests there are a lot of decent ones.

Has any one else met a good Priest?

I've seen more good than bad out of ALL religious leaders. Why judge all by the actions of a few?
People place too much stock in what other people do anyway. That's our biggest mistake.
Priests are only human, just like any of us.

When somebody is out to destroy they are going to use the examples of those who did wrong to condemn all. Just understand that is their agenda, to destroy. I would like to think that most people are capable of looking at individual actions instead of judging an entire organization based on the actions of some. But I suppose it all depends on how fair minded a person is.

A priest, teacher, Minister or Pastor. They are all men of God. Many let worldly thing and sin pull them from the Lord. We should not judge anyone. Only God has that right and he will judge you for judging others. Don't judge but pray for that person.

i agree with you, there is no one perfect [except christ] and its not fair to call all priests pedophiles because a few actually are,

so we should not call all catholicpriestspedophiles, but lets call them what they actually are, blasphemers, false christs, idolaters, but tats not limited to the priest, thats all roman catholics as seen in the catechism of the roman catholicchurch [catechism is a book of doctrine] the catechism says, and i quote "Taken up to heaven she (Mary) did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation..." Pg. 252, #969

"Being obedient she (Mary) became the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race." Pg. 125, #494

"She (Mary) is inseparably linked with the saving work of her Son." Pg. 303, #1172

but the bible says- "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved... " John 10:9
"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour." Isaiah 43:11

"Yet I am the LORD thy God... there is no saviour beside me." Hosea 13:4

"The God of my rock he is... my saviour..." 2 Samuel 22:3
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21

the catechism teaches that catholicsare christ-
"Let us rejoice then and give thanks that we have become not only Christians, but Christ himself. Marvel and rejoice: we have become Christ." Pg. 210, #795

Wow! Notice that Catholics are not merely Christians, they have become "Christ himself."

"My church cannot possibly teach this," Catholics often argue. But two additional catechism quotes further prove this is official Catholic doctrine.

"For the Son of man became man so that we might become God." Pg. 116, #460

"The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods." Pg. 116, #460

but According to Jesus Christ, all who claim to be Christ are deceivers:

"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:5

Jesus warned about being taken in by these deceivers:

"Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ…" Luke 21:8

"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not." Matthew 24:23

"… I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me," Isaiah 46:9

"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." 1 Corinthians 8:6
