Limewire software installed in my computer is not good. Its downloading speed is very poor. It take hours 2 download single song. Plz suggest me the way i can increase its speed n download its new version from internet

the file size and where its from and that server/users bandwith will affect the download speed, not to mention your bandwith, and connection speed.....you shouldn't be using limewire anyways as it seems to be riddled with malware and trojans. Get a torrent client like bitlord or bitcomet, its the same files and programs you are looking for but it comes from several sources and therefore will increase the bandwith of the file download and thus increase the speed of the download, plus its safer.

First lemme tell u that ur computer speed has nothing to do with the speed of ur computer.
The main parameter is ur Internet Speed.
If ur using a 128kbps bandwidth then the download speed will vary betwn 17-20 only.
So chk out ur Internet Bandwidth speed wid ur ISP first
And lemme tell u the Limewire Latest Version is 4.9

What is your pc configuration? Increase RAM capacity. Use DAP (download Accelerator plus) software to download.

hey angel what is the configuration of your system? how do you find download speed in general, when say you download some software etc? The problem may not be just in the version.
You could try other P2P softwares like e-mule. It is a free software

Are you sure you have downloaded the latest which is Limewire 4.12.6? I have that version and it's faster.

i think your RAM capacity is very low
you choose 512 RAM
what is your motherboard processing speed?
you choose at least 3.0mhz

try to go for torrents.... tru bitcomet or bitlord...
i download 100MB in an hour using that over 256kbps DSL
