I don't wish to be rude, but why are you in a position to be inspiring young people if you can't be arsed to write the stuff yourself?

If you actually cared in the slightest about the young people you are going to address, if you cared in any way at all about pride in performance....YOURS that is, you would write the speech yourself.
How ironic, you expect them to understand about pride in ones acts and achievements, when you yourself clearly have none

self respect leading to respect from others, pride makes one more engaged, therefore enjoy what one is doing more
