Any Bank Tellers out there? Help?

Im thinking of applying for a bank teller posotion. Is it true that they check your credit and give you all kinds of psychological tests and even a lie detector test?
If it's true why do they do all that?

I used to be a Bank Teller (Australia) and they dont do no lie detector tests or Psychological tests

They do however do a security background check but this is with every job you go for, and they need to do this as you will be dealing with large amounts of money.

Unless you have committed a crime etc, dont worry so much about it.
