Great question! I think that even though Christians believe they will be in Heaven someday, that being in the world and being in a corrupt, sinful body is the reason why we get depressed and/or hateful. Plus, to us, time passes so slowly that we often get caught up in the moment and our sinful minds just lose faith for a while. As far as being hateful goes, I wish none of us ever were. But, like I said, we are in corrupt bodies until they are resurrected into perfection. Until then, we will sin over and over again. If we had the power to live perfect lives, then there would have been no need for Jesus to come and die for us. I just thank God that He did give His life for us. Because if He hadn't, I'd be (we'd all be) in real trouble. Thanks for the thought provoking question. Peace.

This question is easy. Think about someone who has cancer. They're waiting for the treatment, and they are very depressed and nervous. They might worry that they will not be strong enough to heal and they will die. Maybe they will snap out against people who joke about dying or tell them they are going to suffer and die despite the treatment. Then, when they are cured and it is all over, they feel sorry for the way they've acted, but joyful that they can now live.

Well, sin = cancer. You wouldn't joke to someone who was dying of cancer about how stupid they are. Why then do you do it to someone who thinks the same of sin? Sin is a very real thing and it hurts so much...I can't imagine why someone would want to hurt another person for kicks....actually, then again I can. Because we are all sinners, and sinning means that someone is being selfish. "Sin" isn't a 3-letter word, its a 2-letter word: "M-E".

That being said, C. S. Lewis in his book "The Screwtape Letters" also gave you an answer: the letter on "the law of Undulation" is his version of saying this: God wants us to be better beings than before, so naturally He will support us and on those times we are kinder, gentler, and better beings than we could ever be on our own. But then, to make sure we've learned something, He will occasionally withdraw His support. Then we have to stand on our own two feet, and being human of course they will fall from under us. Hence all men sin.

It comes back to the notion of cancer. When someone is there with the sufferer, supporting them and telling them things will be okay, they will be such happy patients despite the circumstances that it will bring tears to your eyes. But remove that supporter, and turn that patient over to the wolves, and they will become very sad in heart.

As for me I am always sorrowing, because I see so many people in my work who are always suffering...and many of them don't care. They will suffer more, and it will be because they wanted it (let it be known that no man goes to Hell against his will!). But blessed are those who mourn, I suppose, and I have no doubt that I will have more cause to mourn when some thoughtless people have responded to what I have to say.

Depression and hatefulness comes from Satan and sin. If people would truly have faith in the Lord and trust and obey him. Less depression would be seen. Years ago before TVs computers, and vehicles back when families ate, read and worked together, people were happier because they followed God more closely. People now let their guard down and let Satan control their lives.

The Bible consistently tells us that gay interest is a sin (Genesis 19:a million-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans a million:26-27; a million Corinthians 6:9). Romans a million:26-27 teaches extraordinarily that homosexuality is a results of denying and disobeying God. while a guy or woman maintains in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “provides them over” to much greater wicked and wicked sin as a manner to coach them the futility and hopelessness of existence different than for God. a million Corinthians 6:9 pronounces that gay “offenders” won't inherit the dominion of God. God would not create a guy or woman with gay desires. The Bible tells us that a guy or woman will become a gay because of the fact of sin (Romans a million:24-27), and finally because of the fact of their own determination. a guy or woman could be born with a much better susceptibility to homosexuality, in simple terms as all and sundry is born with a bent to violence and different sins. that would not excuse the guy determining directly to sin by employing giving into their sinful desires. If a guy or woman is born with a much better susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it precise for then to furnish into those desires? of direction no longer! the comparable is real for homosexuality. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, the Bible would not describe homosexuality as a “greater beneficial” sin than the different. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is in simple terms between the various stuff listed in a million Corinthians 6:9-10 which will save a guy or woman from the dominion of God. in accordance to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is in simple terms as obtainable to a gay as that's to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God additionally grants the potential for victory over sin, alongside with homosexuality, to all people who will have self assurance in Jesus Christ for their salvation (a million Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Jesus Christ was just this good guy, you know.

Heaven and hell are in the same place, right here, right now.
It's your choice! Why wait?

I've discovered God in my own heart, and I realise that he is also at the heart of every living creature. No need for an external God!

It just takes some application, to place your attention inside your own body for 20 minutes each day, and eventually you will experience God, for that is what he is, an experience.
After that it is easy to live life with love.

Sometimes God tests us. If we remain strong and worship Him in spite of pain, He will surely reward us. Depression can come from those moments that God seems far away or when people close to you pass away without receiving Christ in their lives, and many more circumstances that get you down.
