Believe it or not, all the prophets brought one message << worship one God and follow the commands >>
what Jesus brought, is what Abraham , Moses, and Muhammad and all the prophets did.
He tought them how to save themselves, but people changed the words and started worshiping him and ignored the commands of God.
Jesus never said << worship me, I am your God >>
he said < if you want to be saved follow the commands >

but Paul said < no more commendments > just take it easy.

what is wrong with the Christians? Do they listen to Paul or Jesus?

did Jesus come with the message or Paul?
where is the Gospel of Jesus?

We , muslims are the best follower of Jesus. we don't worship him, but we worship God who sent him and we follow the commands.
jesus says < I am son of man >
Do you have a difficulty to understand the Bible?

Yes , I am a Muslim. and I believe in God, and try to tell the truth about God.

I say,
Peace

I am not trying to offend Christians or to have fun, God is my witness. I just want them to just think about what I said. I know that it is difficult to change your belief, but I know also that God is the one who guide.

May God guide us all

''Jaco K" I agree with you, but we have to follow the command of God in the Quran.
If Christians follow Jesus, then there is something wrong with the Bible, because Jesus told them how to be saved, and Paul says the opposite I konw that this is not a contradiction from God, but I am sure that somebody played with the words of God.

sam" Why you say Jesus died? If Jesus is God, God can't die. If he is a human son, I can't believe in this.
In the Quran, God says << Jesus never died, but he saved him, and they put somebody looking like him on the cross>> and now he is alive and he will comeback.

If you believe that God can do anything (like come in the flesh) I tell you that God is more powerful than you imagine, he can do things without coming and die and make people confused.
God saved Jesus, son of man

inteleyes" the problem is not with the Bible, the problem is your interpretation of this Book.
you can't go to the lord only through Jesus, means the same thing in Islam << you can't worship God your way, you have to follow a special teaching and commands from a prophet of God.>>
in the time of Moses nobody can say I worship God only if he worshiped God the way God wants. can you force God?
So why then he sent prophets for?

Suzanne" I respect what you said, and I respect your belief. I want just to say, Why in the Quran God speaks about himself many times < I am God, worship me only < there is no other God ,......
But in the Bible you need to search for it to convince people that Jesus died on the cross because he is God in the flesh.
we all believe in hellfire and paradise, these teaching couldn't be changed, they are in the Torat.

I am currently reading through the Bible and what I have come to understand is: Jesus spent so much time traveling the land and preaching. He said to the people that he did NOT come to change the laws of the older prophets- he came to reinforce them, and some of his preaching was very strict- 'it is better to gouge out your eyeballs than to watch a woman in a lustful way'

Why did he waste so much of his time telling the people to stay far from sin if he was sent to wipe sin clean for them all?

One of the reasons I converted to Islam is that I always felt that Jesus was not God, or God's son. And when I prayed I knew that God was high above that, and had no need to do that.

The Bible for me remains a mystery of confusion with scattered answers.

"According to both the Holy Bible, as well as the Holy Qu'ran:
There will be a.... LAST DAY!
After this comes an existence of a world where there is no evil
whatsoever. Only those whom Jesus CHRIST reads by name
will enter into this new heaven and new earth.

The Apostle Paul was a Samaritan with citizenship to Rome
(now known as Italy). Paul, along with the original eleven, not
including Barnabas and other added disciples of Jesus CHRIST,
were killed by the Romans because none of them paid taxes to
the Caesar of Rome. Failure to pay taxes to Rome was
punished with crucifixion all over the world. Paul having been a
citizen of Rome, starved to death writing letters in a Roman
prison for failure to pay taxes since becoming baptized."

You have quite a convelluted question there, so let me help with your obvious confusion.

The Quran, which is the teachings of Muhammad self-proclaimed prophet, was in fact created hundreds of years after the bible and thousands of years after the Torah.

So these are solid and the Quran has to show how it measures up with evidence and proof.

Unfortunately the Quran is unable to do this as Muhammad mixes up events of the bible and confuses even the number of angels that the bible speaks about.

Jesus taught us that he was the son of God and warned us of false prophets and died for our sins.

The good news is that despite being mislead by the violent warlord, Muhammad, you can convert to Christianity.

Unlike Islamists we practice tolerance, freedom, and Jesus's love is yours any time you would like to accept him into your life as the son of God.

Interesting point, I have no difficulty understanding the bible, I just don't believe in god. But to follow your own reasoning, if Paul said , why follow the Qu'ran, which was written after Paul?
I mean no disrespect, I think that most muslims actually follow the rules of the Qu'ran of modesty and thinking of other people and living a good life, and if they choose to do so that's fine by me. It's just that I fear people who say . I'm not saying you do this, but a lot of people on this earth do that. If you believe in Allah, let *him* decide if I'm a good man or not, please. Don't judge me yourself.

I dont think you do understand the Bible at all. If you really did then you would't be asking such kind of a question. Consider the following verses from the same Bible which you claim to understand better than christians:

Mat 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him.
Mat 28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Mat 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Mat 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

If it is as you say then Jesus should have stopped them from worshipping him but he didnt. Why? He was the very same God of the old testament made flesh. If he was not God he would have stopped them right there as did the Angel to John in Revelations
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

before Jesus died on the cross he followed the old way, when he died a new way was made. the old way was all about getting ready for jesus to come. and understanding why he is coming. but he had not died yet so he still had to lead an example to show who he was! when jesus died he forgave our sins. and also completed the old law. and now we can be happy because we are forgiven!! Woot! :P Paul explains what we need to do now that Jesus has forgiven us. tho we dont need to work to get to heaven and baptizing does not save a person but rather faith saves a person. and faith is knowing that you are saved and when you know your saved your life will change! faith come by reading the word of god. ask him to give you wisdom and he will so you can understand the word of God!!

If you believe "Jesus never said 'I am your God, worship me,'" then you've not read the Bible carefully enough. Not only did Jesus PLAINLY tell us He is God in the flesh, but prior to His being born on earth, God the Father told us Jesus is God. Here's only a few proofs from the Bible:

1) Exodus 3 documents the appearance of "the angel of the LORD" to Moses:

13 "Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’"

REMEMBER: Moses is speaking with God (vs. 13a) and God told us He may be referred to as the "I AM." In the New Testament, we read that Jesus said this:

John 8:56 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him [Jesus], “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Jesus answered this way to demonstrate He pre-existed Abraham; however, He also tells us HE is the "I AM," the angel (messenger) of the LORD; therefore, He is God (see Exodus 3:13a).

2) Luke 24:44-45 documents Jesus telling His disciples about the deep, hidden meanings of certain Scriptures. It is from this knowledge that the apostle John wrote at John 1:

"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. ... 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

This explains that, not only did God create everything through Jesus, but that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.

3) Isaiah 9:6 prophesies the birth of Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God:

6 "For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Notice, Isaiah prophesies Jesus will be called "Mighty God, Everlasting Father." It's pretty blatent from reading this that Jesus IS God!

4) See also John 14:1-12, John 10:30 and John 16:15. Jesus repeatedly told His disciples that He and the Father are One Being, and that EVERYTHING the Father has is also Jesus'. These texts cannot mean anything but the fact that Jesus stated He IS GOD.

As I wrote above, there are many, many more "proof texts" in both the Old Testament AND the New Testament that show Jesus DID tell us He is God. There are also a number of places which show He DID accept worship. If you really care to know more, please send me a message through Yahoo Answers.

Peace.

EDIT: Your comment about Paul and "no more commandments" shows you are not aware of one of Jesus' roles: to bring the New Covenant to humankind (see Jeremiah 31:31). Once the New Covenant was given to believers, they were no longer bound by the Laws given through Moses. There is no contradiction. If you want to know more, please message me.

Jesus did not come here to write a book. He did what the Old Testament Prophecy told He was going to do.

Jesus has a lot of names, Son of man, Son of God, Savior, Messiah..

I believe the Bible is true.

Ok, you all need to first understand the concepts of Christianity before you actually talk about their mistakes. None of the things you wrote about them are true, so come on, people, read first, and then talk about mistakes. For example, i am a christian too and actually we worship God, which sent his Son here, on earth for us, we worship Jesus and his mother Mary, because of her purity. Believe, ortodoxism, one side of Christianity, means, in fact, "the right way". Read more... you`ll see a lot...
