DO not try any pills. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam. There is no good diet if it says it is fast. You gain it all back and double. Be wise please.

Go to www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight and it is a free site. It's like having your private nutritionist.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. It is free with support from the members and a real neat site. I'm really impressed.
Enjoy!

God Bless!

Put yourself on a very strict diet. Did you know that if you eat many small meals during the day, you tend to feel fuller even though in reality, you've eaten less? So, if you like to eat alot, try the following:

Have a set schedule for eating and stick to it.
7 am - bowl of oatmeal or cream of wheat (good source of fiber and protein) you'll be on the toilet within an hour, but your stomach will be satisfied!

9 am - yogurt - only 1!

11 am - sandwich on wheat or white wheat bread - have some alfalfa sprouts on the sandwich - they are a good for helping to reduce your bad cholesterol, fighting cancer, help your immune system and help fight fatigue. Have some carrots with your sandwich

1 pm - have some grapes - not the whole bag! Remember, they are high in sugar, so you don't want to go overboard - eat what you know your body will need for burning since unused sugar will turn to fat.

3 pm - have a granola bar

5 pm - dinner - small portion since you've been eating all day, you won't need a lot! Eat healthy - steak, small baked potato, grilled chicken... Stay away from the fried foods - they will only hurt you!

7 pm - last snack of the night - yogurt or cottage cheese.

Remember to eat healthy stuff for breakfast, lunch and dinner and no junk food during the down time snacks. No ice cream or candy. You'll want to get a good carb blocker as well - I recommend Carb Blocker 2 from Nutrilite - This is what I use and it's great! Also get CLA - it helps with your metabollism. Make sure you exercise, just eating right and no exercise will not make you achieve your goal.

Best form of exercise for burning calories - swimming. If you don't like to swim, or no access to a pool this time of the year, go for brisk walks at least 2 times a day. Be sure you drink a lot of water - to get the right amount - I recommend getting a case of 20 oz bottles - drink 1 with every meal and snack. Be sure to have a tall glass of milk with breakfast and dinner.

If you are interested in purchasing the carb burner, you can contact me about the blocker I recommended to you. I would stay away from the products at GNC - for the most part, they aren't that great!

Don't expect to shed pounds in days, it won't happen. What you will notice if you do all of this is that you will become more tone as you lose weight. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are starting to gain as you are working out, don't freak over it!

Good luck!

I went from 204lbs to 165 in about two months. I ate as little as possible, but when I did eat I went for quantity over quality. Like if I was really hungry I'd eat like two bowls of Raisin Bran w/ 1% milk.
I also ran on a treadmill most everyday after work. I started out at twenty mins. a day, then after two weeks or so got up to an hour. BTW doing it w/ music or the TV on really helps the time pass.
After running on the t-mill, some H2O and a 5 min rest I used 20-30lb dumbbells to tone. I did two exercises, on each of these muscles; biceps, triceps, shoulders, forearms, delts and back, along w/ as many stomach crunches as I could take. I'd do one set of each exercise, until I couldn't do it any more (w/ a quick rest in between). After a short while I could do it in about twenty mins. (weights and crunches).
This method is kind of the "old fashion" way, but I think it's much than using one of the newer methods, e.g. diet pills, Atkins, Miami B., the all grapefruit diet, etc.

Well how quickly?
I lost 30lbs in about 30days and have mostly kept it off for the last 4 years, this is what I did.
I bought 4 or more of my most favorite cold cereals, put several handfuls into ziplock baggies, then I carried them around with me. When ever I got hungry I just ate a handful. Then I would eat my normal dinner.
Now I eat only 2 meals a day and snack on cereal the rest of the time, it even lowered my cholesterol. Just a thought…

The tuna fish diet, if you can stand it eat nothing but Tuna with light mayo 3-4 times a day. Drink plenty of water and juices. I did this and lost 40 pounds in a little under 6 weeks.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

1. Aerobic exercises help you burn calories, which makes you lose weight. 2. Weight/Strength training keeps you in shape and strengthens you muscles and bone, which means you will have a higher metabolic rate, and burn more calories for the same work. 3. Healthy diet is always better than a fad diet. Make these things you habits rather than doing them for a month or so, then you will see miracles.

I tried the South Beach diet in the run up to a special occasion with my girlfriend and it works a treat... lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks. You have to be very strict about it though.

You can get books on it anywhere.

Oh and excercise - there's just no better alternative.

Try eating more fruit and avoid at all costs consuming any fat. Eat more beans and exercise right after any meal. (e.g. go for a strenuous walk outside and don't put up stretching before and after any activity).Don't spend over 4 hours a week at the computer either.
