A lot of human sewage from lines feeding into the ocean and runoff from storm drains where all the urban & suburban chemicals flow down drains ( this is why some areas ban dumping your anitfreeze, paint, solvent and other chemicals in the gutters now)

general pollutants are effluents left out by industries and human colonies oil spilages are most common ones apart from that the plastic what people carry with them and leave it there they choke the marine life

oil spills, debris brought by the sea poolute the coastline
in case u mean the sea other pollutants are sewage from industries and domestic waste
