If my husband asked I would tell him honestly. But he has specifically said he doesn't want to know. I think he thinks I will have slept with more people than him. I think so too, but not by much.

Am I stupid? No, I will lie. If I slept with 10 I will say 2, if 30 I will say 3.

I know how many women my husband had before he met me, and he knows how many men I had. Neither of us have a problem with it.
I think it all depends on the relationship. My husband is the first that I've ever been completely honest with. The others...it was sort of a "don't ask, don't tell" thing, except with the first two.

IF i had slept with other men, previous to the one i am married to now YES i would have told him. i believe in honesty, but i also believe it is a 2 way street. if im honest about that he needs to be honest about the woman/women he slept with too

If he pressed me on it, I'd say, "You clearly have a range that's acceptable. I wouldn't want to be too low or too high. So, just pick a number that's on the low end of your range, and we'll go with that."
Men who ask are jerks who clearly don't think it's acceptable for a woman to sleep around, so long as she sleeps with him.

Depends on how many men it was. Remember if you give him a false number, commit it to memory because he's not going to forget it and get used to hearing it every now and then.

First of all ,he shouldn't ask. What happened before him doesn't matter. You can only live your life from today on out. And don't ask him that question either. People are so nosy.

I am 55 and have been through that many times. Take it from experience if his feelings are for real it won't matter and if not he isn't worth your time. Be happy little.
