If god exists, then so does Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. And so does David Cameron's promises ...
you have to have FAITH in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, that way they really exist.
not sure about David Cameron's promises, though ...
religion creates division, hatred and wars.
Santa and the Tooth Fairy never hurt anyone.

The world is not yet destroyed: there is still time.

Unfortunately, we will not take a telling. Many authorities have been warning of global catastrophy for years, but it's only recently that some have begun to sit up and take notice. This is not because of the warnings, but because they can see some aspects of the warnings coming true.

Even so, those that have the real power to do something about it, have not taken serious notice. I wonder if they ever will. I think that the governments and big business, etc, will only sit up and take notice when global destruction is imminent and there's nothing we can do about it. Even then, many will still continue to pollute the Earth, like a life-long heavy smoker who's been told that he has inoperable lung cancer and is about to die. With his last few breaths leaving his body, he lights up his last cigarette.

When the destruction of the Earth becomes obvious and irreversible, that's when God will step in. Revelation 11:18 shows that God will bring to ruin those ruining the Earth, not bring to ruin those that have ruined it.

However, at the end, we (the whole human race) has to understand every last detail of why we can't rule ourselves, the consequences of ruling ourselves and the rightfulness of God's authority over the Earth. As I said, we cannot be told this, we sadly need to be shown it.

Jehovah's Witnesses have further details if you are interested. There is also a website.

What better way to show himself. But the answer is no. God is a human idea. We created and nurtured him by putting the idea down in writing back when anything written was sacred and true just for being written. Centuries passed and erased the origins of the creation and so we are left with an old wives tale impossible to refute. Neither science nor intellect will destroy the story that our forebears died defending or whatever. On a lighter note, what is the harm if people believe? They may change to become better people if they follow the teachings which if you actually read the Bible come out as a general guideline to living life in human society without fighting. The manuscript of intelligent men stating what they had experienced and seen to be the best way of going through life. Throw in a Deity now and then for the fickle minded to follow since it is in the nature of man to look for leader or something bigger than himself for answers.

It all depends on your faith. If you have a strong faith then you believe that God is real. He gave us the freedom to choose things so that we could learn from our mistakes. The only problem with other people is that they continue to do what is wrong despite the effects of these on themselves and other people. That is why there is destruction of our earth. It is a person's right to believe in whether or not God exists so for some He does, and for some, He doesn't.

Yes there is, and it's called free will, because if God controlled us you would be asking what right does he have telling us what to do, so he gave us free will, and lets face we messed things didn't we, but we turn and blame God for our mistakes, why should he help us, or stop us when all we do is condemn him, we will only learn by our mistakes, when we learn to love each other and have faith in ourselves, will we be ready for God, so don't blame him, take a look in the mirror and you will see where the balme starts

The evidence for a creator is creation itself. For example, we cannot duplicate a scenereo in which replicating DNA is formed without intelligent intervention. The complex biological systems in all living things appear to have been designed. Thus we infer a designer/creator. The problem is we know nothing about this creator if he/she/it/them exists and that's where religion rears its ugly, or not, head. Religion claims to fill these gaps in our knowledge.

Why does God let people destroy the world? Nobody really knows but if it makes you feel better religion pretends to know.

Allow me to put it this way. He said the Kingdom is within us. He also said He is with us. The people you are referring to are those who can not fully accept the God in them. The same people may claim they are the people of God, but their hearts are really far away from the God they say they love and worship. It appears God allows destruction because this is not a one-god-show. It is a testament, a covenant, an agreement between man and God. It is, therefore, man that allows destruction, not God.

Because far too many people aren’t living as God wants them to live, including many so-called religious people. If more people lived in obedience to God, caring for the planet and for the people, we could solve a lot of problems.

So don’t blame God, blame the godless.

The bible has come about from 'The Elohim', the Elohim are scientists from another world and were mistaken for Gods when they created life on Earth. As there is no God and the Elohim don't want to intefere this is why there is famine, murder, disease etc.

HIS people? No, my friend, a person is NOT God's people if he does not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Its the people who have chosen to reject God and follow Satan, who has created the mess we live in.

Because people like you (and me) aren't always committed to his call for us to be his hands and feet to stop the destruction.

With free will comes the freedom to choose -- the freedom to create/love and the freedom to destroy/hate. Which do you commit your life to doing? Let's choose the former, shall we ;-) Together, we can make a difference.
