I have my heart pleading for the oppressed(those who are poor and do not have proper clothing to cover this winter season)think of thosesuffering in places where there is a war going on.between evil and unjust.Can we getup from our slumber, bring happyness to those sad faces.while we are enough and are wasting our food and spending money on unwanted luxuries in life.Can we let go some of those good things for a good reason

Of course we all can! Absolutely nothing stopping anybody from beginning today. Look around your own community. If you’re not sure where you can help, make a few calls to local churches. Or just begin by buying some warm blankets, socks, nonperishable food items etc and find where to deliver it. Lots of places are having toy drives right now, and collecting school supplies for schools in need. Even if you can’t afford to buy items, there are plenty of other ways to help, such as to help distribute the items.
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Christ’s birth than to donate time and money to those in need.

God has given each and everyone of us here the ability and power to correct the wrongs of the Earth. Thats why I give to charities such as The Salvation Army, The Red Cross, and The Christian Children's Fund.

Yes, we can, but will the donations we give get to the people who need it most? That is the reason some people are reluctant to give. Buy a goat for a family in Kenya.

I always give my time, talents and money to charities. Volunteer, or pick a family to bless with gifts and food this season. My mother and I pick a local family to help and do so anonymously.

I agree and I already do that. I give food to the poor and clothing as well.
