Hello dear.

My problem is that some times media files like music or video, changes, for example, my movie files were media player Icon but while I installed Real Player, then all movie Icons changed to Real.
I don’t want it.
Off course I can use Openwith option and open it with Media Player but I want its Icon to look like what I want.

I went to properties but couldn’t help.

Please help me change my Icons like what I want.

.

While installing real player or any other new players, it would ask if you want to make it the default player. For that you should have selected "NO". If u didnt select option "NO", then you would face this problem.

Anyhow the solution is simple.

Just right click the file you want to open and select "open with". Now before giving "OK", check the Check box present in the bottom of that "open with" window(Always use this program to open these files). Your problem will get solved.

After that all your video files open in the player which you have selected.

Sounds like you are using Microsoft Windows.

If this is the case, then all you need to do is tick the "Always use the selected program" check box when using "Open With".

You may have to reboot to get the icons to change, depending on your version of Windows.
