I recommend the Suave Professionals Humectant shampoo and conditioners because they are really moisturizing and thankfully, super cheap. Salons also tell you to just dry your hair 85%-90% dry when using a hairdryer. That helps prevent damage. And use a heat protectant/detangler before blowdrying. Also, the new Herbal Essences "Hello Hydration" shampoo and conditioner work well and smell yummy. And I also heard from a hair stylist that actually drinking more water during the day helps hair. Hope that helped!! :)

Your hair might be dry due to over-processing...colorings? perms? You need a deep conditioner. Stay AWAY from cheap products, they contain too much alcohol that adds to the dryness of your hair. If its 99 cents, don't buy it!...Suave, White Rain, etc.

If you want to go to some expense for some awesome products, visit your local beauty salon, those products rule!

Cool it with the blow dryer only a couple times of week and the curling iron...let it go natural.

Then buy a deep conditioner and leave it on your head for an hour, wrapped in a plastic bag and a towel over it. Rinse well. Once you do this for several times over several weeks, you will see the difference.

I battle with this all the time.

I got a really bad perm a few years back, and my hair was extremely dry. I bought Biolage conditioner for dry or over-stressed hair. Once a week, I would put it in at night when I went to bed, and I would rinse it out in the morning when I woke up. I did that about 4 times, and my hair got much healthier. I also cut it a little shorter to get the dry out. I hated it, but it worked. Good luck.
