I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.
To tap in to your Psychic Sense you can go to my free develop-psychic-ability page here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-psychic-ability.html
And the 'Am I Psychic?' page is here http://www.psychic-junkie.com/am-i-psychic.html
And some interesting psychic tests are here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-test.html

It turns out to me that the God a character believes in says plenty extra approximately the character than it does approximately God. Some folks appear to consider in a cranky, vengeful, petulant God. Others consider in a Big Parent within the Sky God. Some deny that there's any God in any respect. Some say God is Love. No, I do not suppose believing in a God calls for that or not it's a well God, despite the fact that many folks insist that every one that's well is God, and that every one that's evil is a Devil or a Satan. I suppose if one specifies that the God is a Creator, then sure, it follows that the whole lot could be the construction of the Creator. I like dreaming's reply. I suppose of "God" as "That Which Is." I am just a tiny drop within the sizeable Ocean. I don't declare to understand the form of the coastline :-))

The birth of the Spiritualist movement in the 1800's was dominated by scam artists. Even in present time we have all these Psychic Hotlines and such. Maybe if we could weed out all the snake oil salesmen then maybe it would be easier to explore and accept psychic phenomenom.

The basic question that needs to be raised here despite the very attractive evidence presented by the scholars and writers from the field of science, is : If a scientific fact which is held to be valid, since it presents the latest result of scientific research, is in agreement with the Qur'an today and if one is convinced solely by this argument of the heavenly origin of the Qur'an, what will be one's attitude, when or if, after more intensive research, they very same scientific fact is seen in a new light and perhaps differs from what one previously accepted as the Qur'an's position on the matter?
Should this discrepancy then convince us of the human origin of the Qur'an, and so refute its heavenly origin? In other words, until very recently, very many scientific facts were in utter disagreement with today's scientific truths - and if today's scientific truths are in agreement with the Qur'an, this means perhaps a few decades or a century ago no believer in science could have been convinced of the heavenly origin of the Qur'an. Similarly, a few decades or a century from now, science, which is after all the human perspective on the true nature of things, might describe its findings entirely differently from the way it presents its 'truths' today.
Science or scientific truths, therefore, cannot be generally accepted as criteria for the genuineness or non-human origin of the Qur'an, although at this point in time there are perhaps many good examples to be cited for the concordance between science and the Qur'an on certain questions. However, the Qur'an is a book of guidance for mankind and not a book of science nor a mine of cryptic notes on scientific facts.
Muslims believe the Qur'an to be guidance from Allah, while science is a human endeavour and we believe the Qur'an to be guidance from Allah under any circumstances irrespective of whether science, which changes continuously, seems to be in support of it or not.

I believe there are people God gives special "gifts." But they come from God not the individual taking credit for them. Anyone who claims otherwise, is leading you astray.
As for myself, I don't need psychics, indigos, or otherwise. My faith is in God above.

>>"They think they are doing good, but their power comes from Satan and his demons my friend."<<
so was jesus's!
omg! seriously though. your full of crap.
it IS from God. just as jesus's abilitys were.
>>"When a psychic, for eg. gives their life to Jesus Christ and send those demons out of them, they lose their "powers". "<<
actually no they don't. in fact I've not heard of anyone who did, who did not think they were evil or something like that. if they have faith in God and they feel their beliefs come from God, which is how it is 90% of the time, they WILL retain their abilitys.
>>"They are witches. "<<
this isn't true at all either. these traits are as natural as brown hair or natural personality traits.
>>"I believe there are people God gives special "gifts." But they come from God not the individual taking credit for them. "<<
since when do most of these varietys of people take credit for them? most I've ever heard of do *NOT* claim this is entirely within their own means.
>>"also there is large sums of money to be collected by anyone who can demonstrate any psychic ability whatever."<<
and they are also in such provisions that they are self-disproving. the conditions for getting it are specifically tailored to make it functionally impossible to actually show in that manner.
anyway, I do believe in them, you could say, because I am something similar to them.
the people who claim these abilitys are unilaterally evil, are the ones working for the devil they believe in, they are allowing their fear, ignorance, jealousy, and lack of faith dominate their mind.
I think those who claim its evil, are really just jealous. they think "if its really of God, why didn't he pick me? why can'd I have that, since I believe in God and he didn't pick me, it must not be of God.
its really quite arrogant and presumptious.

I'm sceptical about anything that I haven't seen conclusive proof for. I think it's best to question everything, even your own beliefs.
