There is a person whom I am involved with that is living with a girl whom he says was an on again off again ex. He told me he doesn not feel "that" way about her anymore but I am starting to think I have been lied to and have been really stupid. I wanted to believe the best about him, but I am not so sure.

I am certain there are times when two people of the opposite gender can live together and have absolutely nothing sexual going on.
I don't, however, think the two people in this situation are among the ones I mentioned above. If the two people are absolutely not attracted to each other in any way and honestly would find a romantic thing laughable or repulsive they could live together without anything happening. Obviously, these two people don't have that built-in aversion to each other romantically.
Really - if he's living with her and saying things aren't the same any longer while he may not be lying to you he's probably lying in some way to himself and the other girl. He may also just be a giant jerk who figures he can pull this kind of crap on girlfriends and get away with it.
Sharing a place with an "on again/off again ex" is a whole different thing from sharing a place with some trusty old toad of a friend you have always seen as a sister.

i lived with a man once and we were not sexually involved, however, your man and the flatmate were in a relationship which makes it different and very difficult for you. i would not be happy and i'd suggest one of them moves out.
