Yes, I find manners are very important!
Too many people lack manners these day and if things proceed like they have in the last 10 - 20 years (I call them them "Me, me years) we will all shortly be back eating with our hands from one through and chivalry will manly mean that instead of stopping you will merely evade the person crossing the road instead of ploughing over them.
Many parents don't have or don't take the time anymore to teach good manners to their children which is a sure step back for society. Social graces are manly about manners, but how can you learn them by sitting in front of solitary games and being baby-sat by TVs and computer games?

Good manners are important in all walks of society. It is good to learn them at an early age and this way a person earns respect and has more chances to succeed in business and other relationships.

It's very important. Our social lives are more public now than it ever was years ago. We all go out to dinner more often, go to the movies more, etc. It doesn't matter what social status you are, you should always show good manners.
It's very annoying to be around rude, ill-mannered people.

Yes - not in the way it was used in England to keep people in their rigid social classes, but because it keeps our interactions with each other nice and i don't care if that sounds stupid. I think manners are underrated and actually wish they were more clear in certain circumstances so you know how to deal with people. For example, I always find it awkward knowing how to address someone who is senior to me in either a work sense or an age sense. I was raised to address friends of my parents as mr/mrs whatever; but nowadays we're all so trendy that if i were to address someone in that fashion because i'm uncomfortable using their first name initially (which implies familiarity) then they get offended that you're treating them as being old. Obviously if they introduce themselves by their first name i have no problem using it but it's that initial awkwardness that's off putting to me.

Yes unless you're raised in a barn, which is what people will think of you if you don't learn good manners. It helps people get along.

Treat other people the way you would like to be treated and you will be happier, there is never an excuse to abuse people just because you feel bad yourself.
Yes, good manners are important.
