Who's to say that an almighty force created the world?

From my point of view the universe was always present within the time-space continuim.

The universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again. It will repeat this process forever. What you don't you know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, & again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have.

It's a very difficult concept to grasp without raising further questions.

God created time and is not bound by time in any way. This does not specifically mean that He can look into the future, because that would bring in the idea of predestination, which is unscriptural. It means that He can control it; it means that when He does something, He can do it under whatever circumstances He sees fit. (Not like us who have to do things according to a more or less fixed time schedule)

Time is on our hearts and minds and we cannot understand any concept outside the bounds of time. But remember, God created time. This is where I have a difficulty in explaining it. There was a "time" when time didn't exist. Nothing existed except God. It can therefore be said that God has "always" been there. Anything less than this would mean that God (which is role that can be filled by only one supreme being) is an illegitimate concept.

To suggest that we had a beginning (a concept that everyone can agree with) brings in the concept of time. The concept of time cannot be successfully applied to God, therefore He had no beginning. It's a little confusing, I know, but, perhaps you might try and look for God in other ways.

If He created the universe and life, some evidence of this idea must exist, but it may depend on how you look at it. You could try learning about God directly from His word, but unfortunately that means reading and studying His inspired word. You could try prayer. Many find it comforting and enlightening, however, it doesn't always work, it depends on what we ask for and how we ask for it.

At the end of the day, it all depends on our view point. Do we want to prove a cherished belief regardless of whether it's true or not? Or do we want to know the truth of everything, regardless of how nonsenseical or even offensive the information initially sounds?

God is the first nothing bfore him.
don't be so smart. If something before him, than who created it, and who created the one before and so on, that's why it can't be nothing, and that God is the begining, he is the first and the last.

I want to tell you that God is not male nore female.
God in arabic is Allah Al Elah.
has no gender not godess
has no plurial not gods, godesses,

That's why the arabic language is very strong.
<> this is from the Quran.
If you say that he is male, that means he has a wife, kids and father and brothers << a familly >>.
Those things can't be attributed to him,
He is the one and only
he is the begining , the first and the last.
he created us like other things << animals, vegetales, bacteria, fungus......with males and females.

If you understand Biology, we can't have an apple tree giving bananas, and no elephant can give birth to a horse.
so how can God can have a human son ??????????????????
This is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
just have faith and believe in this is innacceptable, I will not surrender, never.. I believe in Gpd the most powerful, the wise, the just, the guide.
If Jesus is not his son, so why cll him so.
If jesus is God, so whu he created us?
If jesus is not the son, nor God so he is just a son of man and a great prophet peace be upon him, I will accept him and aceepet God and worship him alone and die this way.

that was a very good question, thank you

If God is made then that God is not worthy of the title 'God' and therefore cannot be God; because there exists a Maker before him. In fact the Maker might probably be more worthy of the title.

In certain faith, since God does not appear in any specific physical form, (and therefore cannot be formalistically described), God is described in attributes; eg God exists, lives, is omniscient, is omnipotent, etc.

So while it is true that Things DO NOT spontaneously arise, we now know for sure that these Things (that DO NOT spontaneously arise) CANNOT be God and therefore is not worthy of worship.

Like people, money, lovers, government, the good life, sex. They all ain't worthy of worship.

Is there anything beyond creation and destruction?
Is there something in your view which can not be created or destroyed?

Well that is God.
Thus there is no creater of God.
God has always existed and will always exist, even when the Universe has re-collapsed.
The universe we inhabit is a unique occurrence: Humans arose once on this planet; the history of our ancestors followed a unique though unpredestined evolutionary pathway; and the collapse of the "Big Bang" universe will bring everything to a close.
Brahma (the Universe) lives 100 of it's years, consisting of 360 days and nights. Thus Brahma lives 100 x 360 kalpas = 36,000 days plus 36,000 nights. In human years, Brahma's life span lies far beyond our power of imagination: 72,000 x 4,320,000,000 human years = 311,040,000,000,000 human years.

You do need to get your head round this concept.
This is a Hindu view, so no Bible quotes here.

I agree with Heretic #8 and add that humans have a burning desire for answers even if there aren't any. The hardest thing for some people to say is "I don't know", and often it is the most intelligent thing to say. After inventing god, MEN used the fear of god to control everyone else. The bible is a perfectly written tool for brainwashing as it has worked on so many.

i dont know anyone that has been able to answer this question!
If god made jesus than God had a father. but it comes to the point that there has to be a First FATHEr so who made him?
But in this DREAM and in this Matrix, there is a God and there is an enemy that rebelled against God.
There is a God, the existence of this universe and this galaxy and this heaven under which the earth created was created by the Son of God and there are many sons of God but to us there is only ONE. When the answer comes! everyone will know but more than likely it will not be in this life time

God did create all the heavens and the earth and every thing in it.

No one knows about how God actually came to existance. That would be a question that I might ask him someday. At that point in time I will probably be so continted that I won't even care to ask him.

The big bang theory is science's beliefs

and the religious belief is that God created the whole world in 7 days, etc. etc.

I think there is some supernatural being out there and many things are prearranged

Why does God have to be made?.....

If the universe had no creation, could it have just existed?... or does it have to be made at some point?..... If you can answer that, then consider God.......

The point at which it is made: is where we begin......
The point at which it is already: is where God is....

According to Scripture, God is..... which means, that He was always in existence..... There is no time with God.... because He is a spirit......

Even our spirits are eternal as God is an eternal spirit..... and so we have that image of God.....

But, the body we have is not eternal.... and so the body perishes....

But, we are..... Just as God is.....

Ginger
