The answer is Both. Read Genesis 1;26-27. It states," And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness."If that isn't enough proof then i don't know what is.

I want to tell you that God is not male nore female.
God in arabic is Allah Al Elah.
has no gender not godess
has no plurial not gods, godesses,

That's why the arabic language is very strong.
<> this is from the Quran.
If you say that he is male, that means he has a wife, kids and father and brothers << a familly >>.
Those things can't be attributed to him,
He is the one and only
he is the begining , the first and the last.
he created us like other things << animals, vegetales, bacteria, fungus......with males and females.

If you understand Biology, we can't have an apple tree giving bananas, and no elephant can give birth to a horse.
so how can God can have a human son ??????????????????
This is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
just have faith and believe in this is innacceptable, I will not surrender, never.. I believe in Gpd the most powerful, the wise, the just, the guide.
If Jesus is not his son, so why cll him so.
If jesus is God, so whu he created us?
If jesus is not the son, nor God so he is just a son of man and a great prophet peace be upon him, I will accept him and aceepet God and worship him alone and die this way.

that was a very good question, thank you

Both. I dont concentrate so much on whether God is male or female but on seeking the goodness that I can find in God, the goodness I can find in you, as you are a part of God. Jesus said all good things come from the Father. I tell you many good things come from women.

God has no Gender. But God's love for us is like a Mother's love for a child. Therefore I prefer to think of God in a Matriarchal or Motherly image. It's so much warmer that way.

In my opinion, There's more than one god. There's the Triple Goddess, The God, The Goddess, Zeus, Hephaestus, Amen-Ra, Loki, Balisana, Borais, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Belladonna, Tiamat, Malek... Which one are you talking about?

If God created us in "His" image, then why do we have two genders? Why are two genders necessary to reproduce? If we are created in the image of the Creator then it only stands to reason that the Creator would have two genders.

It is interesting to note that in the book of Genesis 1:26 where it says:

"26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have..."

In the original Hebrew "God" in this passage is rendered as "Elohim." The word "Elohim" in Hebrew just happens to be plural. Notice also, that it says "Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness; let THEM have..."

Us, Our, Them. Not Creator, but Creators. God and Goddess, male and female.

Just my $.02.

Blessed be. )O(

I would have to disagree Jesus literally being God HIMSELF. But everybody has their own opinions and views, I though believe God is male also.

God is both male and female. He's male if he demonstrate the masculine character, like creating thunder. He is feminine if demonstrating the mother nature as sustaining.

God is definately a woman, she is spendour and wonder and awe, and she protects me as a mother, she inspires me as a friend, with beauty and sounds and events, she delights me like a child with gifts of love and compassionate thought, and she sends her angels around to love me.

God is definately a man, he is strength and definition and brilliance. He protects me as a father, making me feel sheltered and unconditionally loved, he inspires me as a companion, filling my life with events and situations, he delights me like a child, bringing moments of delight and fascination, and he sends his angels around to protect me

God is a prescence that exists in my soul and in the universe, she is a tree in all it's splendour, and he is the fecal matter of a dog, she is the light that shimmers in the mist of the morning, and he is the lightening display of the winter night, she is the good of the bad and good of the good and the bad of the bad to allow the good of the good to exist.

God is a universal prescence and can be anything and all that humanity needs in order to fulfill their destinial contract.
