when GOD gives you something does it really change anything for the bible to say it or not?
do you have faith in GOD or in a book held by humans?
if you have Faith in God, have faith in God. ask him to show you the way.
its foolish and idolotorous to trust in a book and the humans who control it and inteperet it for you, over what God himself reveals to you.
Ask God to show you, and you will find what you need. all you need is God, not man, not a book. for SOME people the book and teachings of one religion or another are what they are shown to and it helps them. some its not.
but whats important is God. sometimes what he shows you disagrees with the book as we know it, and what people will tell you the book means or says. if you have FAITH in GOD instead of in people, then the truth will be revealed to you.
hope you understand what I mean.

"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD" - Deut 18:10-13
There was only one occasion when the Lord allowed a prophet that was dead to appear to King Saul. Otherwise, the Lord says not to have contact with the dead - because He knows the dead who "appear" to us are not really dead, but are demons posing as the deceased.
Think about all the messages you have heard from people who have had contact with their dead "aunty or granny" or suchlike and listen what they are told by them. Either that there is no hell, or something that would make you think the Bible is a lie.

no, actually the opposite.
Saul contacts a medium. Sees the Prophet Samuel rise from the dead and Samuel is angry. Then Saul is told he will die the next day.
God is the the only Spirit you need to be listening to. Otherwise I'd start rebuking and in the name of Jesus.

In Scientology, the concept of afterlife or reincarnation is an important one. Mostly because you end up cleaning up prior mistakes, which puts you more at cause in the present time.
