where does all the light go in a room when you flick the switch off ?

It disipates and transforms. Its like when you put a drop of water onto a paper sheet. Just a drop in the center and it spreads out, bringing wetness to the paper as like a bulb brings light to the energy around it. Similarly when you switch it off. The air/energy around the room is no longer triggered by the energy/light of the bulb and so disipates or transforms back to its natural state/light.

Obviously I;m not very scientific (thank f**k for that), but I do understand this on an conceptual level. Think of a reegular bulb in a massive room. The bulb isn't strong enough to trigger a reaction/bring light to the air/energy in all parts of the room...

the Twilight Zone!!
I turned the light off for the ceiling light, but I left the light on my lamp, so that I could maybe see where the light went from the ceiling..it didn't work.

Its still there except the iris doesn't get the reflections of the light any more, but black light

the light does not come from the bulb so it doesn't have 2 go any where.
