Sounds like you're dealing with jock itch, which is a fungal/yeast type infection. Go to the pharmacy and get a spray or topical cream intended for the problem; use it faithfully, and it should clear up after a week or two.

Its fungal infection. Firstly dont expose that area to extreme weather while changing clothes. Change your cloths in bathroom or room with closed vents. Sudden change in temp. causes the skin to reacts. Wear 100% cotton nightwears. And keep that area dry, specially after shower, dry it with toilet paper. Use soft seat chair having Fabric uphostery only. Besides, taking the above precaution you can use any cream as suggested by other answerers.

You may have a yeast infection (jock itch). Go to the drug store & got Lamisil for jock itch or something similar. Use it as long as the directions say, don't quit when the itching goes away or it will come back.

Go to the chemist. They have over the counter stuff for groin itch.
It will probably be in the same section as fungal creams for conditions such as thrush and tinea.
