Kotchasan Road and Loi Kroh Street is where most of the bars are after they close go to a disco called Bubbles (farangland) or a place called Nice Illusions.

The reggae bar in the old town is good, cheap, honest, and can help if u like a little extra herb in your diet :) From there they will recommend other drinking spots. Rent a scooter (unless u are gonna be pissed all the time - then u should use the red bus!) and check the town out, I adore chiang mai.
