I'm bored too!!

I think you can use it if you run out of your regular shampoo. I personally wouldn't use it often but it must be pretty similar to the stuff we put on our hair. I've done it occassionally when I've run out.

As a general rule it's not a good idea to use shower gel to wash your hair! However, Lush (www.Lush.co.uk) makes a range of shower gels that can be used as shampoo as well. The Happy Hippy variety is especially worth a try as leaves you with lovely, fresh scented hair and skin.

Can you tell that I am just as bored as you (working an overnight). You can wash your hair with shower gel, but I swear it makes my hair oily. They even market some products that are shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all in one. I have one from luxe that I love.

Well, Philosophy makes 3 in 1 shower gel/shampoo/bubble bath...and it works GREAT. But your everyday shower gel should only be used for an emergency.

If you're a man - YES. If you're a woman - NO! Blokes don't seem to care what they put on their hair but I think ladies need to look after their hair a lot more- especially if long. So please use a proper shampoo and conditioner - my hairdresser even freaked out once when I told her I was using a combined shampoo and conditioner - let alone shower gel!

Usually yes - the bottle will probably say Body and Hair gel or something similar.

The show gell I use has Micro-beads in it to help remove the top layer of skin - I don't use that on my hair!!

I've done it a few times, only when I have run out... I probably wouldn't advise it unless you really have to, it has dried my hair out and made it really knotty, i've had to condition it intensely after washing it with shower gel...
