I was diagnosed with non hormonal receptive Stage 2 in 2002, had a mastectomy and chemo, it came back 2005 in lymph nodes, then in 2006 in lymph node all auxill under the armpit and now stage 3.

If I remember right, breast cancer can go to the armpit nodes, lungs, the nodes in the center of your chest, your bones, and brain first. But, like I said, I might not be remembering it right. I know up until about 3 or 4 months ago, that thought was always on my brain. Every day I thought about the cancer returning, and in all honesty, it wasted a lot of my thinking time. I still think about it now and again, but not nearly how much I did in the past. I never thought I would get to this point, but I have, and the inner peace I have gotten from it is wonderful.

breast cancer likes the bones, brain and the lungs.

Most likely spots for mets are: Lymph nodes (axilla), lungs, bone (ribs or sternum) and liver.
