One's boyfriend is not a very good reason to change your religion. Are you 13 or 14 years old, you sound like it.

I don't think the prospect of dating someone is a good reason to convert to a religion. Also the fact that you are part middle eastern or listen to Arabic music isn't a very good reason. Religion is something you have to believe for, so you have to be convinced that living the life a muslim does is the only way for you to live your faith in Allah. If you don't have this conviction, don't convert, and live the life you think is best for you.

Please for God's sake consider the purpose of your life. Don't convert because he is muslim. Arabic music has nothing to do with Islam. I don't know his state and why he hasn't gone to a mosque yet but I would advise you to think about your own life. Moreover, there is nothing such as 'dating' in Islam.

Please know that faith is something more important and should not be changed for the sake of a person. It should be for the sake of God.

Look into Islam yourself with honesty and if it attracts you then convert.

Do what your heart tells you if you love abdul convert and read the qur'an in english it is very spiritual, but i would be carefull im not being racist or prejudice but wahabis are a 50 year old section of islam and are know to be terrorists. I would ask him to convert to a peacefull section of Islam like shiaism, well that is the most peacefullest i guess.

Converting to Islam will be the best thing you will ever do . Don't listen to the media about violence. I am a Muslim and i wouldn't hurt a fly,.Research about the religion and you will see the light. Ask Abdul to help you . But please do not hesitate., You have nothing to lose!

i think you should ask him why he converted, what appealed him about islam.look inside you can you accept what he thinks when your heart and soul agrees to the teaching then go for it. dont listen to all these that they ll put you in a cage ,you cant date you cant work you wil be beaten etc islam is somthing different this is all propoganda. islam only wants you and teaches you decency and self respect .and gives a respect to the woman that is nowhere else the ppl who speak rubbish about islam are ignorant .

Study Islam on your own first and make your own decisions. Never do anything just for a man. Do it because you know in your heart that it is the right thing for you.

Islam is the way of living. If he is a good muslim and practice islam properly i bet you would definitely like it. But the reason to convert to islam just because your boy friend is muslim sounds bit illogical.
I reckon you must study islam first and then you are most welcome to join the religion preferred by God HIMSELF.

You say that his family are extremist? Be careful. Islamic Fundalmentalists are extremely conservative and their lifestyle may be too much for you to handle.
