I once used a meditation tape, and a spirit in a white robe appeared to
the side of me. I think it was my grandmothers spirit. I was too scared to look closer. I felt her touch my hand once when I was writing a letter to my mother about my grandmother!

Well I am not sure if this qualifies but my granny used to tell this story, her mother was in the hospital dying of cancer and they had been there all day and gone home for a rest, they were listening to her mother's favourite song on the gramophone"I will take you home again Kathleen' ( My granny's mothers' name was Kathleen, and at exactly 11pm the needle jumped the record, and my gran got up to set it right and she swears she saw her mother in the hallway smiling and waving...she knew something was wrong so she insisted they go back to the hospital , when they got there the doctors told them that her mother had died at 11pm.
My granny swore by that story....but then and again she was Irish and they are full of blarney!!

When a dead person appears to someone, it is not really a dead person but a demon taking on the appearance and mannerisms of the deceased. They do this to deceive people into believing that there the truth of Jesus Christ and the Bible is untrue.

I have communicated with people who I knew while they were alive, after they passed.
I wouldn't call it an "afterlife visitation" as such... but there was communication. ... and its happened on several events.
its not that big of a deal really.
